In the framework of the "مهرجان الفرجان" event, Fatima Al-Bustaki, director of partnerships at "Ferdjan Dubai", organized the "Dubai National Culinary Battle" tournament. The competition, starting from the moment of its holding until February 26, takes place in Mushrif Park with the support of the "Ferdjan" fund and the municipality of Dubai.

The tournament serves as a platform where participants compete in the preparation of various dishes, combining traditional and contemporary culinary trends. A panel of judges evaluates the dishes based on taste, presentation, and culinary craftsmanship, with the best receiving valuable prizes.

Hama Saif Al-Shakri became the winner in the adult category, presenting the dish "Treed Jayd", for which she received 2000 dirhams. Additionally, as part of the tournament for adults, a competition was organized among children up to 15 years old for the preparation of "Macarona At-Taybin". The winner selected specialized judges.

Fatima Al-Bustaki emphasized that the "Dubai National Culinary Battle" tournament contributes to the revival of Emirati culinary heritage and passing it on to the new generation. The events also stimulate a cultural exchange between chefs and the public, increasing awareness of the historical and cultural value of traditional dishes.

As noted, "Ferdjan Dubai" aims to create a platform to strengthen social solidarity, uniting people of different ages and cultural backgrounds. The events also support talented youth, providing opportunities to showcase their projects and skills.
