The event featured robots that have the form of chefs and waiters, as well as robots with shelves for transferring large volumes of food and drinks with the ability to communicate in different languages, including Arabic.
The company 'Expert Hub Robotics' founder and general director Jaya Bahati stated that the use of intelligent robots in the food service sector is one of the leading global trends in the hospitality business across all its manifestations. Robots, equipped with advanced artificial intelligence technologies, can quickly react and are programmed to satisfy the needs of restaurants, hotels, cafes, or entertainment zones.
Within the exhibition, various models of such devices were considered, which can be utilized in different organizations operating in Dubai and having a significant demand for smart robots, specializing in food and beverage service. These robots are programmed on different systems, allowing them to speak and understand orders in various languages, including Arabic. They do not replace human elements, but serve as assistants and collaborate with them in performing tasks in restaurants and hotels.
The use of robots in food preparation and service indicates steady growth, which is consistent with the spread of digital transformations, covering numerous sectors, including the food service sector.
