Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Vice Premier and Minister of Defense of the UAE, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, announced the distribution of charity funds designated for financial support for the men's and women's teams of the Ministry of Defense during the DUBAI GAMES 2025, for charitable purposes.
"The directive of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed on the allocation of the charity funds won by the Ministry of Defense teams at DUBAI GAMES 2025 reflects his commitment to promoting the culture of giving, supporting the values of partnership and humanity, as well as utilizing the national wealth," noted General Major Khalifa Rashid Al Hamlani, Director of the Ministry of Defense Cabinet.
The men's team of the Ministry of Defense won in the competition 'Battle of the Leadership for Men,' while the women's team took second place in the competition 'Battle of the Leadership for Women,' which took place from February 20 to 23, 2025, on the territory of the Festival City in Dubai.
This decision reflects the readiness to support charitable initiatives that significantly contribute positively to the lives of people.
