The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) announced the launch of the sixth edition of its humanitarian initiative "Abtal Ramadhan", in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent and the 'Emirates Requests' partnership. The aim of the initiative is to reinforce the values of solidarity and giving among community members and to encourage them to participate in humanitarian actions.
This initiative comes within the framework of the organization’s commitment to community responsibility and supports the 'Ramadhan in Dubai' campaign launched by the Dubai Media Council. Dubai Culture seeks through the initiative, which raises the slogan 'Celebrating the Spirit of Giving', to support families in need and the underprivileged in the state.
The Director of the Institutional Communication and Marketing Department at Dubai Culture, Shaima Rashid Al Suwaidi, explained the value of the initiative, stating: "The Abtal Ramadhan initiative serves as a guiding model for enhancing integration among community members."
On her part, the Director of the Marketing Department at the Emirates Red Crescent, Reem Al Khajeh, confirmed that the Abtal Ramadhan initiative enters its sixth year, thanks to the collaboration with its partners. They aim through this initiative to achieve humanitarian goals and provide support for those in need.
The Vice President and General Director of 'Emirates Requests', Simonda Subotick, pointed to the importance of partnering with the authority and the Red Crescent. The partnership aims to provide means for secure and easy donations throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.
