Reading Month 2025 in "Emirates Read" is dedicated to the organization of various events in public libraries in Dubai. This initiative is linked to the national reading strategy for the period from 2016 to 2026, aimed at strengthening cultural values in society. Throughout the Reading Month, various seminars, readings, and master classes that promote the importance of reading and its impact on society will be held in all libraries in Dubai.
The initiative is organized by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and focuses on supporting cultural development and stimulating reading interests. The executive director of the arts, design, and literature department at the Dubai Culture Authority, Dr. Said Mubarak bin Harbash, expressed confidence in the significance of the Reading Month as a cultural and intellectual event, capable of enhancing cultural awareness and spreading knowledge among community members.
During the Reading Month, meetings with writers and discussions aimed at supporting reading activities will be held in public libraries in Dubai. Such events will involve a number of renowned authors and writers discussing various aspects of their creativity. The events will also include master classes and seminars on literature, providing participants with necessary skills and techniques in the field of reading and writing.
