Dubai's Al-Furjan Festival, promoting community connectivity, has been extended to March 22. The event will include various activities celebrating Ramadan and enhancing social bonds.


Dubai's Al-Furjan Festival Extended to Ramadan

The Fordujan Foundation Dubai announced the extension of the "Marakesh Fordujan" festival, organized in collaboration with the Fordujan Foundation and the Dubai municipality. The festival will be revived from March 13 to 22, coinciding with the month of Ramadan and its festive atmosphere. This is the third consecutive year that the festival is held to strengthen social interaction among the residents of the area.

Aliya al-Shamlan, the director of the Fordujan Dubai, emphasized that the decision to extend the festival was taken based on the requests of the residents and in connection with the success of previous years when the festival attracted more than 145,000 people. She noted that during Ramadan, a number of activities are planned to reinforce connections and solidarity within families and the community.

The festival will include activities such as "Traditions in Fordujan", aimed at preserving popular customs and strengthening ties among generations through the revival of Ramadan rituals. Additionally, traditional iftar events will be organized for families to emphasize the importance of community and mutual support among residents.

The festival attracts visitors of different ages with its diverse range of activities. Furthermore, it receives support from leading organizations such as the Fordujan Foundation and the Dubai municipality, aimed at strengthening social solidarity and supporting initiatives for youth projects in the community.
