The Ministry of Culture announced a program of cultural and educational events organized by government institutions for the National Reading Month 2025 in March of this year. This initiative reflects the vision of the UAE and its mature leadership to strengthen the culture of knowledge and provide optimal infrastructure for the development of a developed educational community.
This was announced at a press conference at the Sawa for Arts and Design library in Dubai. The program includes a variety of cultural and educational activities organized by ministries, local authorities, and non-profit organizations this month.
The Deputy Minister of Culture, Mubarak Al-Nahai, expressed that the National Reading Month embodies the long-term vision of the UAE for the formation of an educated society based on knowledge and culture for achieving sustainable development. He also emphasized that this event reflects the country's commitment to strengthening culture among citizens. The activities of the National Reading Month will be held in cultural and creative centers belonging to the Ministry of Culture across all emirates.
The National Reading Month 2025 includes a wide range of activities aimed at promoting the importance of reading for individual development and for the advancement of social development. The aim of these efforts is to form groups of citizens capable of adapting to and coping with future challenges and contributing to the development of a sustainable educational economy.
