The Ministry of Transport of Russia announced the introduction of a new system that will simplify the process of processing customs documents. Now all stages of customs procedures will be combined into a single digital platform, which will significantly reduce the time for the formation and processing of necessary documents.
The head of the Ministry noted that the implementation of the new system will increase the effectiveness of work in the field of customs control and make procedures more transparent and convenient both for businesses and for controlling agencies. Ministry representatives also added that this step is part of the strategy for modernizing customs infrastructure in order to ensure safety and speed up the border crossing process.
"The new system opens up new opportunities for the development of trade and economic ties between countries, ensuring the simplicity and effectiveness of interactions at the customs post," - emphasized the head of the Ministry.
