On Al Yalayis Road, a new overpass has been opened, designed to improve transportation access from Dubai Investments Park. This three-lane bridge, stretching 1.8 km, provides the possibility for transport vehicles coming from Dubai to turn directly into the park and exit directly onto Emirates Road, contributing to regulated traffic flow and increased safety.
The partnership between the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Etihad Rail, the national operator of the rail transport of the United Arab Emirates, plays a key role in the implementation of this project. As part of the next phase, the expansion of intersections in the Jumeirah Real Estate area is planned with dual carriageways in each direction to enhance road access in the future.
RTA noted that the new overpass facilitates the movement of trains along Al Yalayis Street by separating rail and road traffic while also alleviating the flow of transport vehicles in this area. Etihad Rail added that the project reflects their commitment to adhering to international standards and supports the company’s goals to enhance the movement of goods and facilitate the country’s economic growth.
