A study conducted by the University of Liverpool showed that the cheering of Liverpool fans at the 'Tottenham' gate last Sunday contributed to a 5-1 victory and led the club to win the English Premier League title, causing minor earthquakes in the English region. Professor Ben Edwards, one of the study leaders, noted that the goals by the 'Reds' and the enthusiasm of their fans triggered the earthquakes. Their enthusiasm was strong enough to register on the ground. The goal by Egyptian star Mohamed Salah registered a magnitude of 1.6 on the Richter scale, followed by goals from Destiny Oji, which registered magnitudes of 1.35 and 1.03 respectively, and lastly, goal by Luis Diaz, which registered a magnitude of 0.64, as it was initially measured as lesser. The strongest peak occurred after the goal by Alexis Mac-Allister, which put the 'Reds' ahead 2-1 and practically determined the victory, his strength reaching 1.74 on the Richter scale. Doctor Fernaz Kamrandzad noted that although the peaks were small and not strong enough for the fans to feel them on the tribunes, they left a 'symbolic' trace on the 'Anfield' pitch, home stadium of 'Liverpool'.
