Cultural Events at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library

The International Library of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has launched a series of cultural events in May, representing an ideal opportunity for learning and acquiring new skills and knowledge, contributing to the development of participants.

As part of the program at the library, a literary critical session starts under the name "Literature under the Microscope: A Call to Young Minds," in which experts and authors participate. The session is aimed at highlighting significant works, awarded in the major literary awards in 2025 in the field of literature for adolescents, including the novel "The Dopamine Dose" by author Haya Salih.

In the framework of the Year of Community, the library will hold an inspiring masterclass entitled "Youth Today: The Core of Families and the Strength of Society" by Hamsy Ahmed, focused on empowering youth authors and strengthening their roles in creating strong families and cohesive communities.

A lecture titled "The Role of Social Work in Improving Mental Health" will also be organized in collaboration with Galilee Hospital, where experts from the field of psychology and social sciences will discuss the importance of social unity for enhancing mental health and emotional balance.

The library will also hold an interactive masterclass "Preparing a Compelling and Influential Presentation" under the guidance of trainer Saifa al-Mazrui, focusing on developing effective public speaking skills and engaging participants in the use of body language, vocal intonation management, and effectively communicating with questions and impressions.

To support the literary talents of young authors, the library will host a reading evening, gathering a group of emerging authors to discuss and sign their new works.
