The Dubai Women's Association celebrated its 29th collective wedding ceremony, 'Zafah Harayer,' with 14 couples marrying all together to strengthen family ties in the Emirati community.

The association "Our Rising Women" in Dubai has hosted a mass wedding ceremony "Zaffa Khair" as part of its 29th season at the Za'abeel trade center. In this joyful wedding, 14 couples were married under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum. The event was also attended by officials including ministers, members of the Federal National Council, members of the governing council of associations, representatives of state agencies, and the diplomatic corps.

The association pays great attention to family and is convinced that the establishment of a strong, cohesive family is the basis of progress in the UAE. The programs and initiatives of the association aim to strengthen family ties in society. The Director of Education and Consulting, Khafra Al-Hay, expressed gratitude to the sponsors for their support in conducting mass weddings, considering this step towards strengthening family sustainability in the Emirates.

"Family stability and solidarity are the fundamental issues on the path of progress in the UAE," noted the association's director, Dr. Fatima Al-Flasi. She also expressed gratitude to Sheikh Hind for supporting mass wedding projects in the country. The event was vibrant and joyful, with participation from representatives of state institutions, media, and branches of the association "Our Rising Women."

It was also noted that conducting mass weddings contributes to the UAE's strategy for achieving sustainable families, freeing them from financial constraints and fostering happy and sustainable family life. The association hopes that similar initiatives will encourage youth to strengthen families and help preserve national traditions and values.
