In Dubai police, they honorably detained an 8-year-old girl from Egypt for returning found money at a cinema in a shopping center worth 17,000 dirhams. The girl named Lili Jamal Ramadán came to the police station Al-Rashidiya with her family to hand over the found money. According to Major General Said Hamada Al Malika, the director of the Al-Rashidiya police station, Lili found the money sitting on a bench inside the cinema.

"Her act reflects the values that should be instilled in children to strengthen the community," he noted. Major General Al Malika explained that Lili's recognition took place before her family, to highlight her as an example for others in society. The Dubai police emphasized that recognizing Lili's honesty helps promote similar good behavior among others.

"Strangely enough, the owner of the money at that moment communicated about their loss in the station and was surprised to learn that the full amount was returned," said Al Malika. Meanwhile, His Excellency the General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, the assistant commander for criminal investigation, praised Lili for her honor and integrity.

He added: "She immediately returned the found money to her father, who was astonished by such a large sum. As soon as they found the money, the family headed to the Al-Rashidiya police station to hand it in. They believe that such acts can inspire both children and adults."
