
The Cultural and Arts Authority in Dubai, "Dubai Culture", announced the conclusion of the first edition of the "Piano Talent Camp" program organized in collaboration with "House of Pianos" and "Steinway & Sons - Dubai". The aim of the program was to discover musical talent and qualify a new generation of Emirati piano players.
The camp, which lasted for several months, attracted 17 talented individuals who participated in workshops, lectures, and specialized educational classes in piano performance. Participants learned about the history of classical music and its theories, which contributed to the development of their artistic skills in performing pieces.
Regarding the "Steinway Piano Competition – Gulf 2025", participants successfully passed the first and second phases under the supervision of a specialized judging committee. Fatima Al-Jalaf, Director of Performing Arts Management at the Dubai Culture, emphasized the importance of the "Piano Talent Camp" program in enhancing the local music sector and opportunities for developing artistic capabilities.
From his end, Shafqat Mamadoon, founder of "House of Pianos", praised the performance of the Emirati participants on Steinway pianos in the gala, expressing his pride in supporting the cultural scene in the Emirates and empowering the new generation of musicians.
The "Piano Talent Camp" program is part of the "Dubai Cultural Grant" initiative, which aims to enhance the cultural and artistic sector in Dubai by supporting local talents in cultural and creative industries. This initiative is part of the Quality of Life strategy in Dubai, and contributes to strengthening Dubai's position as a global center for culture and a hub for talent.
