The race, traditionally held at the Meydan Racecourse, includes the main event of the day — the Dubai World Cup ("The World Cup"), bringing together over 100 participants from different countries, including Saudi Arabia, India, the UAE, and Australia. The prize fund for the Dubai World Cup complex, which annually hosts the Dubai World Cup, amounts to 12 million US dollars, making it the richest horse race in the world.
The first day of the festival is dedicated to the main thoroughbred races and the juvenile races. The Dubai Turf, the length of which is 1800 meters, is one of the key races in the program. "This is not just a race — it is a historic sporting event, which combines sport, culture, and the traditions of the Middle East," said the organizer of the Meydan Racing, emphasizing the importance of such a system for the development of racing as a high-class sport.
Participants are not only competing for prizes, but also for the right to bear the legendary name of the Godolphin stables, where one can meet the best Arab horses. In addition to the prize money, the festival includes master classes, yacht shows, and various programs, turning it into a cultural phenomenon that attracts thousands of spectators.
