The hall was transformed into a space buzzing with questions, coded papers, and attempts to crack codes, leading the young participants into a new world of analytical thinking. The workshop was led by trainer Aseel, from a team specializing in teaching children the principles of innovation and systematic thinking. She began by presenting a simplified idea about encryption and how humans have used symbols to hide their messages throughout history, before moving on to explain the 'Caesar cipher' as a classic encryption model that relies on shifting letters within the alphabet to produce a hidden word that transforms into a clear meaning. The trainer confirmed that the goal of the workshop is to develop children's logical thinking and research skills, and to get them used to reading details and discovering patterns.
