The UAE Space Agency announced the winners of the 'Planet X Challenge' initiative as part of the 'UAE Asteroid Belt Exploration' mission. The announcement was made at the Dubai Air Show 2025. The initiative saw wide participation from students. Salem Buti Al Qubaisi, Director General of the agency, commented: 'The Planet X Challenge reflects our firm commitment to encouraging young national talents to contribute to developing innovative solutions that enhance the state's leadership in the space sector. This initiative forms a scientific and practical platform that combines academic knowledge with practical experience, and provides participants with a real opportunity to employ their ideas in projects with future impact'.
