The Mohammed bin Rashid Library will host events for the 54th UAE National Day on November 27 and 29. Under the theme 'The Year of the Family', the program aims to enhance national identity and unite family members under the nation's flag. Visitors can participate in cultural and heritage workshops, educational games, and enjoy live music and artistic performances. On November 27, the day will begin with folk dance shows throughout the day. The event will also feature cultural and heritage stations, including an electric car racing track and a sailboat race that offers a sailor's experience, reflecting the UAE's maritime heritage. There will be artistic workshops for painting models of old houses and castles, and a pottery painting station where visitors can express themselves artistically by painting symbols of the UAE, such as palm trees, camels, and the national flag. The library will also offer children's recreational activities to encourage creativity. On November 29, the library will conclude the celebrations with an evening titled 'Between Tradition and Renewal,' featuring the 'Orchestra' conducted by Maestro Hatem Mansour at 7:30 PM in the library's theater. The event will include a 'Mill for Good' charity workshop that combines heritage and humanitarian initiatives, embodying the values of generosity, solidarity, and community support. Activities will also include a plant-decoration workshop for growing local saplings like the Ghaf tree, and an 'Al-Ulayn' souk that reflects the old folk life and offers traditional Emirati food and drinks. Visitors can participate in a national puzzle to form an image that reflects unity and cohesion. There will also be photo zones and a corner offering national dishes and drinks.
