The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has unveiled the agenda for the 'Schools of Life' initiative, which is part of Dubai's Quality of Life Strategy. Next month, it will feature 26 sessions and workshops, allowing visitors to Dubai's public libraries to explore heritage and symbols of authentic local culture, while developing their potential, enriching their knowledge, and honing their skills in music, languages, calligraphy, and more.

Rashidiya Library will host the 'Accessories from Palm Fronds' workshop, introducing participants to methods of designing and creating distinctive accessories inspired by Emirati craftsmanship. Safa Library for Arts and Design will welcome guests with the 'National Collage' workshop, teaching participants how to use prints, clippings, and photos to create artistic works inspired by the symbols and heritage of the UAE.

Safa Library will also organize a 'Rush Weaving' workshop. Reading enthusiasts can look forward to literary sessions organized by 'The Storytellers' Circle' at Safa Library. Emirati author Salha Ubaid will be a guest at a session titled 'Emirati Identity and Heritage in Contemporary Narrative'.

The 'Arabic Chorus: The Heritage of the Nation' workshop at Safa Library aims to train children in group singing.
