This initiative is part of the Corporation's commitment to supporting the 'Dubai Social Agenda 2033', which seeks to enhance community participation and spread a culture of giving and human solidarity. The program, which airs on Dubai Corporation for Government Communication's 'Sama Dubai' channel and is sponsored by Dubai's Community Development Authority, stands out for its realistic and impactful style. It showcases a series of inspiring Emirati role models who dedicate their time and effort to serving others without expecting anything in return. The program tells diverse human stories, highlighting the experiences of several volunteers and the moments that have impacted their lives, taking the audience on an inspiring journey that embodies the authentic Emirati values in this field. The program airs every Saturday at 7:30 PM and is presented by media personality Ghanem Al-Shamsi. It explores various types of volunteering and methods of organization, with a special focus on the importance of utilizing volunteers' skills to serve the community. Rima Al-Awabdi, Director of the Community Programs Department at Dubai's Community Development Authority, confirmed that the Authority's sponsorship of the program is part of its continuous support for volunteer initiatives. She stated: 'The program "Makers of Giving" is an influential media platform that highlights real-life stories that express the meanings of humanity and belonging, and it encourages individuals to participate in volunteer initiatives, which enhances community cohesion and solidarity.'
