Blue Sky Space, a space science data company based in London, announced that its satellite was launched into orbit yesterday evening with a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from California. The satellite, about the size of a microwave and named 'Move', is equipped with a microscope and will monitor stellar flares and exoplanets. Blue Sky Space plans to share the data collected by 'Move' with research institutions that are part of its services. Professor Giovanna Tineti, lead scientist at Blue Sky Space, said that 'Move' will 'open a new window on stellar activity that was previously largely hidden from view'.
