As part of the 'Our Flag at the Summit' initiative by the UAE Skiers Academy, a team of 10 Emirati champions raised the UAE flag and portraits of the nation's founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, on the summit of the French Alps. This historic moment marks the culmination of weeks of preparation and reinforces the sense of patriotism and loyalty to the nation. Launched 14 years ago, the initiative aims to foster a spirit of patriotism and ambition among young people, showcasing the UAE as a symbol of excellence, generosity, and innovation. The expedition, coinciding with the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations, highlights the unity and pioneering spirit of the UAE people. The team traveled over 5,000 kilometers and braved harsh winter conditions to reach the summit, which stands at over 3,300 meters. Upon completing their mission, the summiteers expressed their pride, and the national anthem was played. This collaboration with Brand Dubai also emphasizes the values of national unity and community cohesion.
