The Dubai National Theatre announces that it continues rehearsals for the play 'The Secret of Al-Fareej Blue', which will participate in the 19th edition of the UAE Festival for Child Theatre, starting on the 21st of the current month. The events of 'The Secret of Al-Fareej Blue', written by Abdullah Al-Muhairi and directed by Hamad Al-Hamadi, revolve around five children who live in their neighborhood with all love and security, until they embark on a quest to collect candy only to find themselves on a mysterious and incomprehensible adventure, full of challenges. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai National Theatre, Yaser Al-Qarqawi, confirmed that participating in the UAE Festival for Child Theatre comes as part of the endeavor to present a theatrical work that carries meaningful national messages, crafted in a way that aligns with children's imagination and enhances the values of belonging and national identity. He added that the Dubai National Theatre believes in its role as a space for learning, fun, and creativity, and that participating in the festival reflects the commitment to providing theatrical content linked to the identity and culture of the UAE society, and contributes to instilling love for the country and preserving it for future generations. Director Hamad Al-Hamadi said that the cast of 'The Secret of Al-Fareej Blue' is currently in an intensive phase of preparations for the festival, noting that rehearsals are proceeding at a high pace to achieve the best readiness before the show. He confirmed that the play undergoes daily and meticulous reviews of various scenes, pointing out that the acting cast is making great efforts to deliver a performance that suits the nature of the show and attracts the child audience.
