Dubai Media Corporation has announced the 'In Love with Dubai' musical evening to be held on New Year's Eve. The event will celebrate the poetry and vision of Dubai's rulers and feature artist Asala Nasri.

Dubai Media Corporation has completed all preparations for a musical evening titled "In Love with Dubai", scheduled to be broadcast on Dubai TV and Sama Dubai screens, coinciding with New Year's celebrations. The evening will celebrate the vision and unique ideas of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, which have influenced Dubai's developmental journey, enhanced its leadership and international standing, and cemented its presence as the best city in the world to work, live, and visit. The event is part of Dubai Media's strategy to provide innovative media content that reflects national identity and local cultural values, and contributes to showcasing Dubai's story and future vision through quality programs with distinctive human and cultural dimensions. The evening, to be broadcast live at 9:15 PM UAE time, will be hosted by media personalities Ahmed Abdullah and Ruaa Al Sabban from a special studio set up by the corporation in Dubai Future Foundation. The event will feature the artist Asala Nasri, who will perform a selection of poems by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, written in both Nabati and classical Arabic, to reveal their unique rhythms, meters, and aesthetics. Among the most prominent poems are "I Hear the Echo of Your Voice", "Congratulations", and "You Are as You Are". The evening will also include a selection of poems by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, which explore a range of inspiring human and national themes. Among these are the poems "Smile", "Soul and Soul", and "The Meaningful Friend". The event will also feature performances of several songs, including "Longing", "Goodness and Charm", "Like My Soul", "More Than I Dream Of", and "Thank You". The evening will also feature a series of special segments and reports celebrating the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Among these is the report "Life Taught Me", which presents selected excerpts from the first part of His Highness's new book "Life Taught Me". The book is a culmination of His Highness's 60-year experience and leadership philosophy, comprising 35 chapters that document key milestones of his journey in leadership, governance, and life, serving as an intellectual and reference guide for current and future generations.
