Dubai Police Carnival Kicks Off

The three-day Dubai Police Carnival has started as part of the shopping festival. Visitors can learn about police innovations and services and enjoy family-friendly entertainment. The event aims to strengthen ties between the police and the community.

Today, the Dubai Police Carnival event kicked off at City Walk, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival. The event will last for three days, during which the most prominent innovations, projects, and services of Dubai Police will be showcased, along with entertaining activities and enjoyable shows for all family members. Colonel Ali Khalafan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Happiness Department, confirmed that Dubai Police is keen on launching and organizing comprehensive community exhibitions and events that enhance constructive communication between the security institution and all segments of society, embodying Dubai Police's strategic vision to enhance security and safety and achieve the highest levels of community happiness. He added: "Direct interaction with the public through innovative platforms and distinctive events, such as the Dubai Police Carnival, not only contributes to strengthening trust but also opens new horizons for community awareness about the most important security and traffic services, and highlights the efforts of Dubai Police to achieve community happiness and enhance its security and stability." The carnival will showcase a number of security, traffic, and community services, with the most prominent being the Dubai Police smart application, volunteer opportunities through the volunteering platform that enables the public to apply for volunteering, home security service, awareness of women's and children's protection rights, the e-Crime Hub platform for cybercrime awareness, the 'Ain' Police service for reporting violations and legal infractions, the lost and found service, the circulars inquiry and travel ban service, the 'Aman Roads' platform to enhance traffic safety, in addition to exhibits from the Dubai Police Museum that highlights the journey and security and technical history of the institution over past decades. The carnival will also present motorcycle and bicycle shows, performances by the Dubai Police Academy's music band, police dog shows, luxury tourist security patrols, a virtual simulation program in the 'Ghayath' patrol, an old Land Rover car, a Ramadan cannon, in addition to a display of items related to the UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams (SWAT), including the armored vehicle and family event suit. The public will also enjoy a number of recreational and artistic workshops through the 'Artisans Studio', and children will be able to enjoy interactive digital games, sports games, puzzles, competitions, and gifts through the 'Khalid' children's magazine platform, issued by the Security Media Department.
