DEWA Joins 'Change Leaders' Programme

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is participating in the fourth cycle of the 'Change Leaders' programme, aimed at developing employees' environmental knowledge and promoting nature conservation in the UAE. The programme, supported by Emirates Nature-WWF, includes training, field visits, and project implementation across the country.


DEWA Joins 'Change Leaders' Programme

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is participating in the fourth cycle of the 'Change Leaders' programme, an initiative by the Emirates Nature-WWF.

The programme aims to spread knowledge about local nature, promote its conservation, and develop employees' skills through a series of training sessions, field visits, interactive activities, and project implementation across the United Arab Emirates.

The programme focuses on enhancing community participation in climate action and wildlife conservation in the UAE to ensure a prosperous future that respects nature.

To date, the programme has attracted 334 participants from various sectors of the authority.

'Our authority provides our employees with training opportunities that strengthen the culture of sustainability and environmental work, and support them in enhancing their contribution to sustainable development,' said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.
