Dubai's community contributions institution 'Jood' revealed that over 2,000 participants are engaging with its platform during the current edition of the Furjan Festival, organized by Dubai's Furjan Foundation at Mushrif National Park in Dubai from February 5th to 15th. Hana Al-Awadi, Director of Strategy and Communication at Jood, told 'Al-Ittihad': 'The platform offers a recreational game for all community members visiting the festival, providing them with an opportunity to donate in support of orphans during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to enhance community work in the emirate of Dubai and align with the 'Dubai Social Agenda 33'. She explained that the platform aligns with Jood's vision to become a trusted reference point for individuals wishing to contribute to humanitarian, charitable, and developmental work in Dubai. It specifically aims to foster a culture of giving and human solidarity, encouraging individuals and institutions to participate in charitable activities to support comprehensive and sustainable human development. Al-Awadi added: 'Dubai's community contributions institution has participated with interactive initiatives for community members at several events, such as the Dana and Warifa events organized by Dubai's Furjan Foundation.' She noted the significant engagement Jood's initiatives have received from people of all ages and nationalities in support of charitable work and to reinforce the values of giving embodied by the emirate of Dubai. This turnout reflects the progress made in embedding a culture of community giving, and Jood reaffirms its commitment to continuing its work to realize the wise leadership's vision of building a more cohesive and sustainable society.'
