Dubai's 'Good' Supports Ramadan Charitable Initiatives

Dubai Community Establishment, 'Good', has announced its support for a series of Ramadan initiatives being implemented by more than 10 charitable entities and organizations in the emirate of Dubai. This is in line with its role as a digital enabler for organizing and directing community contributions through reliable and transparent channels, with all initiatives holding official permits and accreditations from the Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD). This support reaffirms Good's commitment to strengthening the ecosystem of community work during the holy month of Ramadan and fostering a culture of giving and solidarity, in alignment with the goals and vision of the wise leadership in building a cohesive and sustainable society. Among the organizations supported by Good during Ramadan are: Beit Al Khair, Dar Al Ber, Dubai Charity, Al Jalila Foundation, Ru'ya, Emirates Food Bank, Emirates Down Syndrome Association, and Furjan Dubai, alongside several other charitable entities. The initiatives are diverse, including iftar meals, Eid clothing, the 'Ramadan Basket', and a host of other community programs aimed at supporting underprivileged families and promoting the values of social solidarity during the blessed month. Good aims to translate this human interaction into an organized and sustainable impact that extends beyond the holy month through initiatives that enhance family stability and social cohesion, in harmony with Dubai's direction and the vision of our wise leadership, thereby reinforcing the values of social responsibility and sustainable humanitarian work. One of the key initiatives launched during the holy month is the 'Joy of Eid' initiative, in partnership with Good and Ru'ya, which aims to provide Eid clothing for children in need during the last ten days of Ramadan. The initiative is carried out through community events at one of Dubai's shopping malls, offering the public the opportunity to donate 250 dirhams to provide Eid clothing for one child. The Good platform confirmed that its role during Ramadan focuses on enabling charitable organizations to scale their impact and enhance community and corporate participation in supporting humanitarian initiatives by listing and organizing campaigns on its digital platform, while partner organizations handle the operational aspects to ensure efficient delivery of aid to those in need. The CEO of Dubai Community Establishment – Good, Marwan Rashid bin Hashim, stated: 'The success of any initiative is measured by its tangible impact on the community and by ensuring that aid reaches those in need efficiently.'
