Dubai Club for People of Determination is launching the new edition of its Ramadan Festival today. The event features sports, cultural, and community activities, comprising 72 programs across multiple themes serving various categories of people of determination. It is supported by several government and private institutions and will continue until March 12. The festival also marks the launch of the 14th edition of the 'Dubai Quran Competition for People of Determination,' with the participation of over 700 contestants. In line with the 'Year of the Family 2026,' the club is organizing a number of cultural competitions aimed at families. The sports program includes 12 games with the participation of 300 people of determination and club employees. Additionally, the club will host the wheelchair basketball championship, held as part of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament. The club's Executive Director, Majeed Al-Ayimi, confirmed that the festival's alignment with the 'Year of the Family 2026' gives it special significance, as it includes many initiatives that embody the values of cohesion, partnership, and social solidarity. He also stated that the club is fully prepared to host the wheelchair basketball championship, which begins tomorrow as part of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament.
