An unusual incident occurred at Heath Court Hotel: a horse participating in a race at Newmarket entered the lobby. A hotel employee tried to block the doors to prevent the animal from entering, while another staff member attempted to grab it by the neck to control its movement. The horse, from William Hagas' stable, escaped its stall unharmed. The incident caused a significant reaction on social media, with one user tweeting: "Most hotels don't get guests like this in the lobby." It appeared as if the racehorse was checking into the hotel after sneaking into the lobby. It is still unknown how the horse managed to enter the hotel, but it is possible given that there are 3,000 horses training at the Flat Racecourse.
