The Art House at Expo Dubai City has launched 'Saturday Meetings at The Art House,' a leading family program that combines arts, culture, and health, aiming to involve children and their families in a unique mix of creative, interactive, and educational experiences.
Designed as a recurring artistic event, 'Saturday Meetings at The Art House,' starting April 11, provides a dedicated space for families to connect through shared experiences based on exploration and self-expression, as well as to develop children's curiosity, build their confidence, and foster their imagination.
The program includes activities and events suitable for two age groups: 4 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years, taking into account the children's developmental stages, interests, and different levels of interaction. Through guided workshops, interactive sessions, and hands-on experiences, participants are encouraged to test new ideas, discover unique ways of expression, and build self-confidence in a supportive and warm family environment.
The 'Saturday Meetings at The Art House' program is built on three main pillars: the Arts axis, which includes artistic activities allowing children to explore materials, colors, and drawing techniques and develop creative thinking and self-expression; the Health axis, which includes physical and sports activities for the whole family in a fun and participatory format, based on movement and mental focus (mindfulness); and the third axis, Music, which offers a number of sessions and musical workshops for children to learn the basics of rhythms, the nature of melodies, and musical instruments, with opportunities for interactive experiences that support listening, creativity, and shared enjoyment.
These activities are managed by a selected group of artists, session managers, and creative practitioners from various disciplines, who present them in an easy and accessible format that encourages learning through play.
In addition to sessions and workshops, families can participate in 'Saturday Meetings at The Art House' by exploring The Art House extensively, including its exhibition halls and galleries.
