For the third time, the Future Forum will take place at the Museum of the Future in Dubai from November 19 to 20, 2024. Experts will discuss the prospects of critical sectors, including energy, food industry, machine intelligence, digital economy, space, biomedicine, nature restoration, and sustainable development, as well as new social systems.
The forum will feature more than 70 panel discussions, key speeches, and master classes, including more than 150 speakers – ministers, government officials, general directors, scientists, decision-makers, thinkers, and futurists from the UAE and around the world. Within the framework of the Humanity Prototyping Initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, 100 experimental projects will be presented.
Under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, this year's forum will also highlight innovative solutions to global problems. The global network was launched at the forum in 2022, reinforcing the Museum of the Future's position as a global hub for future-oriented thought leadership and affirming Dubai's leadership in building partnerships for creating a better future for humanity.
The Future Forum of Dubai is a platform for specialists, futurists, and decision-makers, where global challenges are discussed, possibilities are identified, and strategies for the future are proposed. The head of the foundation, E.E. Al Gergawi, emphasized: "The Future Forum of Dubai initiates meaningful global dialogues, bringing to the forefront the views and ideas of leading experts and organizations oriented towards the future."
Last year's event announced the joining of 36 institutions from 17 countries to the Global Hub for the Future. This time, nearly 2,500 futurists and experts from approximately 100 countries are expected to participate, including around 100 leading foreign institutions.
The five key themes of the 2024 forum are "Education for the Future", "Trust of Generations", "Transformation of Humanity", "Optimization of Health", and "Understanding Prediction". These initiatives will help people and organizations improve the knowledge and skills necessary for anticipating and preparing for new trends.
In addition, the program includes workshops to be held on November 21 at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Innovation in Government and CodersHQ at Emirates Towers in Dubai. The workshops offer a unique experience that combines creativity and foresight, making the forum a global center for establishing international partnerships in the field of future studies and setting the agenda in the most important sectors.
