
In Dubai's festival arena, the Open Championship of the UAE in Muay Thai among men and women has concluded, with 235 athletes from 44 clubs participating, both from the UAE and other countries. The event was organized under the aegis and supervision of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation. "The final day was filled with competitive duels, showcasing outstanding performances among the participants who qualified for the finals," noted the organizer. In the final stage, 38 matches were held, attended by large spectators and featuring high-level mastery from participating clubs from the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Libya, Iraq, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, and China.
The next significant event will be the "International Academy Day," which will take place in Dubai. The organizer expressed joy at including "Dubai Studios in the list of partners of the International Academy of Television Sciences and Arts," hoping for successful meetings at a global level.
According to the results of the final day, the Abu Dhabi Muay Thai team led the overall medal tally with 13 medals (seven gold, four silver, and two bronze), followed by the UAM team with a total of 10 medals (seven gold, one silver, and two bronze), and in third place, the Muay Thai Colosseum with 13 medals (five gold, six silver, and two bronze).
The head of the Asian and Arab Federation for Muay Thai expressed satisfaction with the participation of 235 athletes from 44 clubs, highlighting its importance for the development of Muay Thai in the UAE. Additionally, he recognized the active participation and contribution of all participants to the progressive development of the sports atmosphere in the country.
