During the meeting, the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Dubai Media Council and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority was discussed. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, Mona Ghanem Al Merri, and the General Director of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammed Abdulla Al Legaifi, signed the document. Al Merri expressed gratitude for the cooperation, emphasizing the importance of supporting professionals in the media industry and creating high-quality content.

It was highlighted that the media plays a key role in shaping society, and they confirmed the interest of the Dubai Media Council in providing support to media professionals, offering them the necessary tools for successful performance in the rapidly changing media segment. Al Legaifi also emphasized the importance of supporting key sectors, including media, and expressed readiness to provide assistance in achieving common goals.

The sides plan to cooperate to ensure safe procedures for the operation of drone-based aerial platforms for media tasks and to simplify the licensing processes for obtaining the necessary licenses. Simultaneously, training for media specialists on safe drone operation will be implemented, with an emphasis on favorable conditions for media photography, adhering to aviation regulations in Dubai.
