The 2024 DP World Tour Championship is set to take place from November 14-17 at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Fans have the opportunity to witness the thrilling conclusion of each round from an exclusive vantage point at The Championship Chalet located on the 18th green. This upgrade is part of the efforts to enhance the overall experience for spectators and players alike.
Tom Phillips, Director of Middle East for the DP World Tour, expressed his excitement about the upcoming championship and the significant changes that have been made to the first tee to improve the fan experience. The addition of new seating areas aims to create a stadium-like atmosphere and provide optimal views for fans as players tee off.
The championship is part of the inaugural DP World Tour Play-Offs, following the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship at Yas Links the week before. Many top golfers, including Rory McIlroy and Billy Horschel, are confirmed to compete in the event, vying for victory in the season-ending tournament.
Ticket options for the championship include Ticket+ which offers general admission to the 18-hole golf course and Championship Village. Additionally, Ticket+ holders will enjoy priority access to various facilities on-site, such as food and beverage counters and public parking with complimentary shuttles.
An exciting feature of this year's championship is the enhanced first tee designed to elevate the spectator experience. The Earth Lounge on the 16th green has already sold out for Friday and Sunday, but tickets are still available for Thursday and Saturday. Participants like Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, and Robert MacIntyre are also gearing up to compete in the prestigious event.
For fans looking to enhance their experience further, Ticket+ provides access to The Greatest Bar on Earth viewing platform. Hosted by MC Gabbie Partington and featuring live music, it offers fantastic views of the 17th hole, adding an extra element of excitement to the championship.
