Yesterday, the Ninth International Congress on Medical Aesthetics in Dermatology and Cosmetology "Midan 2024" began its work at the Dubai World Trade Centre. More than 4,000 experts and specialists from different countries are participating in the event, including associations of dermatologists from various corners of the world, representatives from the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as delegates from Southeast Asia for regional collaboration (AARC).
During the opening of the conference, welcoming speeches were made by: Dr. Khalid Al-Nuaimi, consultant in dermatology and cosmetology, president of the congress and head of the "Midan" association, Nadir Nakib - representative of the High Commissioner for Refugees in relation to refugee matters, and Dr. Munzer Latif - regional consultant for the World Health Organization.
The event lasts three days and includes more than 275 lectures on various topics. Participants of the congress will discuss the latest achievements in the field of dermatology and cosmetology, and also exchange experiences and contribute their share to the development of the industry.
