40 Legal Experts Honored in Dubai for Charitable Contributions

The Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai honored 40 legal practitioners for their contributions to the "Legal Aid Endowment" initiative, promoting sustainable charitable work. The honor was bestowed during a ceremony attended by notable officials, emphasizing the role of legal professionals in providing free consultations to those in need.


40 Legal Experts Honored in Dubai for Charitable Contributions

Events, where the participation of 40 lawyers and legal consultations in the program 'Legal Foundation' was noted, was organized by the Foundation and managed the property of orphans and Vahfa in Dubai. They collaborated with the courts of Dubai and working with them, UAE lawyers to strengthen the role of the legal sector in supporting sustainable charitable activities.

At the ceremonies, prominent individuals such as the Deputy General Commissioner of Police and Public Security of Dubai, General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Director of the Dubai Courts, Dr. Saif Ghanem Al-Suwaidi, Chairman of the Foundation and the management of the property of orphans Issa Al-Guraiir, Vice-President of the National Federal Council, Mariam Al-Madji bin Tania, and also General Secretary of the Foundation Ali Al-Matuwa were present.

Participants in the program, lawyers provide free consultations for clients through legal firms, determining weekly mandatory consultation hours and volunteer services for those in need. These consultations are provided within the framework of the program 'Legal Volunteering' with the assistance of the courts of Dubai.

Meanwhile, in Abu Dhabi at the office of the Zayed Foundation for People with Limited Abilities, a reception and signing of the book 'National Identity in the UAE: between uniqueness of traditions and values and universal standards' is taking place. The author of this book is Dr. Jamal Suwaidi.

The book emphasizes the importance of attempting to redefine Emirati national identity, which President of the State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, considers one of the key issues. The author stresses the critical importance of rethinking this concept in the context of challenges facing national identity, globally, completely scientific, technological, and social changes.

Among the guests were employees and students of the Zayed Foundation for people with limited capabilities.
