According to the new rules established by the Dubai Maritime Authority, owners and operators of tourist maritime vessels and floating restaurants in Dubai are now required to indicate the number of permitted passengers on each deck. This measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers onboard marine vessels and floating restaurants in Dubai. They are required to comply with the number of passengers specified in the sustainability brochure. In a recent associated document, it is mentioned that the vessel's captain is obligated to display public information signs about safety during passenger boarding and disembarking within his designated safety zone of operations. These measures are enforced in the marine zone of Dubai, under the jurisdiction of the Ports Authority, customs, and free zones of the emirate.
