Today, no less than six people died, and more than 50 were injured as a result of a series of explosions in the state of Tennessee, USA.
The explosions occurred in a manufacturing park of the town of Nashville. According to fire officials, four buildings were completely destroyed, while several others sustained damage.
According to eyewitnesses, the first explosion occurred in one of the buildings, after which several subsequent explosions followed. Rescue service workers continue to work at the scene, inspecting the debris in search of survivors.
"It was terrible, like in a horror movie. I have never seen anything like it," said a witness to the explosions.
While the reasons for the occurrence remain unknown, police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
