The Ministry of Health and Community Protection organized a specialized workshop to prepare the 'National Policy for Promoting Smart Services and Artificial Intelligence in the Health Sector.' The aim is to formulate a comprehensive national framework that supports the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and transforms it into an institutional approach governed by standards. It will be based on data quality, privacy protection, and measuring the impact on the community and the user experience, thereby enhancing the healthcare system's readiness to deliver more precise, efficient, and proactive services.
The workshop was attended by Ahmed bin Ali Al-Sayegh, Minister of Health and Community Protection; Dr. Hussein Al-Rand, Assistant Under-Secretary for Public Health; Dr. Leba Shaali, Director of the Health Policies and Legislation Department; and representatives from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
