Dubai Police Strengthens Global Fight Against Money Laundering

Dubai Police has addressed 500 money laundering cases over the past three years, collaborating with international law enforcement and sharing 1,733 financial crime dossiers. Their extensive efforts have resulted in over AED4 billion in financial investigations, showcasing the UAE's commitment to tackling financial crimes.

For the last three years, the Dubai police have implemented an exceptional focus on the exchange of intelligence information, exchanging 1,733 files related to financial crimes with international partners. This was announced by General Al Marri. These exchanges were facilitated by organizations such as Interpol, Europol, as well as regional and Gulf networks.

According to General Al Marri's statement, over the past three years, the Dubai police investigated 500 cases of money laundering, conducting financial investigations totaling more than 4 billion dirhams in cooperation with international law enforcement agencies. During this period, virtual assets totaling 60 million dirhams were also investigated.

Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri noted that the success of the Dubai police is based on strong cooperation at both national and international levels. These achievements reflect the UAE's commitment to combating money laundering and improving international cooperation in the fight against financial crimes.

The main focus is on developing global partnerships to ensure community safety. It also emphasizes the use of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the investigative capabilities of the Dubai police.
