UAE and Norway Discuss Cooperation at World Government Summit

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had a meeting with Astri Ås Hansen, Minister of Justice and Public Security of the Kingdom of Norway, during the World Government Summit in Dubai. They discussed the strong relationship between the UAE and Norway and explored opportunities to expand cooperation across various sectors for sustainable progress.

They exchanged views on regional and international developments, underlining the importance of aligning global efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond. The discussions also included strategies to enhance collaboration in security, policing, and legal affairs to work towards building safer and more stable societies.

Additionally, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Dr. Vincent Biruta, Minister of Interior of the Republic of Rwanda, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit. The focus of this meeting was on strengthening bilateral cooperation across different sectors, reflecting the commitment of both countries' leadership to broadening their partnership.

The discussions emphasized the vital role of the summit in demonstrating the influence of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies in molding government policies and improving performance systems globally.
