The International Court of Justice has announced the election of Judge Yuji Iwasawa as the new president to complete the term of former president Nawaf Salam, ending on February 5, 2027.

Today, on Monday, the International Court of Justice announced that Judge Yudji Ivatsava has been elected as the new president for the term ending February 5, 2027, succeeding the previous president Nafaf Salama.

Judge Yudji Ivatsava will hold the position of president of the International Court of Justice until the end of the term, which was initiated by Nafaf Salama.
