This statement was made in connection with the murder of a group of employees of the order bodies in Tunisia, which occurred on December 8. The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, expressed deep regret regarding this act, calling on all countries to join the fight against terrorism.
The envoy pointed out that such attacks on strong structures pose a greater societal danger and contribute to the destruction of the country's infrastructure. According to him, such actions violate any peaceful order and the rules of legality.
The UN envoy Aboul Gheit underscored the necessity of uniting efforts in the fight against international terrorism, which, as he noted, is one of the main threats to global peace and the security of the entire region.
