VFS Global, specializing in visa processing services and technology for governments and diplomatic missions, has announced the relocation of the visa application centers in Dubai from 'Wafi Mall' to a new location within the same complex starting March 17. The current visa centers operating in the second phase of 'Wafi Mall' will move to the fifth phase - Horus, first floor, Umm Hurair 2, Dubai.
The company recommends travelers who already have appointments to check the details of their meetings to avoid any unexpected issues. It is worth noting that VFS Global manages visa, passport, and consular services for numerous countries, streamlining the process for applicants.
The regional director of the company, Monaz Belimoria, noted that with the approaching tourist peak this summer, travelers should submit their visa applications in advance. She also added that summer is a time of maximum travel demand, which indicates an increased flow of travelers applying for visas.
She stated: 'With proper planning and readiness, you can simplify the process and concentrate on enjoying your trip.' VFS Global's advice for travelers wishing to obtain Schengen visas includes: - Submit your application early: It is recommended to submit your visa application in advance when booking your travel and accommodation, especially this year, considering the expected increase in demand, given that most countries accept visa applications up to 90 days (3 months) before the travel date, and you can submit your Schengen visa application up to 6 months before departure. - Check visa processing times: During peak season, the processing time for visas at the consulate may take longer than usual.
