A new independent study, the results of which were published yesterday, confirmed the existence of a systematic racist culture within the London Police, which has been entrenched for decades. This study was conducted two years after another study reached similar conclusions. The new research, prepared by renowned HR expert Sherin Daniels, warns of the consequences of racism on the normal operation of Britain's largest police force and its relations with the public. The study attempted to assess the reasons why the police is difficult to reform, pointing to a series of scandals in recent years that have eroded public trust in the British police. The most prominent of these was the kidnapping, rape, and murder in 2021 of London resident Sarah Everard by one of its officers.
