The Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation reviewed, during its fifth meeting of 2025, the operational updates of the four units at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. The plan focuses on enhancing oversight systems, supporting scientific research and building capabilities, ensuring safety and security in all regulated activities, as well as strengthening cooperation at both national and international levels. It also emphasizes empowering human capital and improving institutional performance to enhance the Authority's position as a leading regulatory body in the nuclear field.
