The UAE Ministry of Defence has announced the martyrdom of two members of the Armed Forces. The tragedy occurred on Monday, March 9, 2026, following a helicopter crash caused by a technical malfunction. The aviation incident took place while the personnel were performing their national duty within the country.
The crew was executing their official duties when the aircraft lost control due to a sudden technical failure. The military department confirmed that the crash was solely the result of a mechanical issue. Emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the site of the accident.
