This event marks a first step towards building a wide network of cooperation between the country's youth councils, enabling the launch of joint initiatives that highlight the presence of youth in the media and community landscape. The organization of this meeting reflects Dubai Media's commitment to providing a space for dialogue and idea exchange among the youth, and to enhancing cooperation between youth councils. During its sessions, the council discussed a number of key topics, most notably the 'Role of Media in Highlighting Youth Initiatives.' Participants addressed various issues related to the media's role in supporting youth initiatives, alongside discussing the challenges they face in communicating their ideas and projects to the community. They also explored opportunities for cooperation and partnerships between youth councils to launch joint initiatives that serve the community and amplify their positive impact. In turn, under the topic 'Challenges Youth Face in Getting Their Voices Heard' amidst the rapid evolution of digital media and the proliferation of media platforms, the discussion saw the participation of Majid Bin Zubair, Chairman of the 'Nafees Youth Council'; Mohammad Al Ajmani from the Ministry of Health Council; and Obaid Al Shaer from the Dubai Municipality Council. The council also saw the presentation of a number of purposeful ideas and initiatives aimed at expanding the scope of cooperation between youth councils, including developing shared digital media content, organizing media coverage for youth events, and hosting youth council members on various media programs to showcase their initiatives, experiences, and contributions to the nation's development journey.
