Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Al Marri, inspected the Hatta Police Center, highlighting its outstanding achievements in security, digitalization, and crime prevention, as well as its vital role in supporting regional tourism.

The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, confirmed that the Hatta Police Center serves as an advanced model in policing, especially given the region's growing tourism appeal. The "Winter in Hatta" festival attracted over two million visitors, reflecting the center's vital role in providing distinguished security and community services.

This came during his inspection of the center as part of the annual program for inspecting general departments and police stations, in the presence of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs Brigadier General Harib Mohammed Al Shamsi, the Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigations Brigadier General Eid Mohammed Al Thani, the Director General of Police Centers Brigadier General Majid Al Suwaidi, his Deputy for Deira Centers Brigadier General Sultan Al Ayis, the Director of Hatta Police Center Brigadier General Mubarak Al Kutaybi, the Deputy Director of the Excellence and Leadership Department Brigadier General Dr. Ibrahim Bin Sabah, the Director of the Inspection and Supervision Department Brigadier General Ahmed Al Mehairi, the Deputy Director of Hatta Police Center Colonel Ali Obaid Al Badawi, the Head of the Inspection Department Major Dr. Abdel Razzaq Abdel Rahim, and a number of officers.

Al Marri reviewed the progress of police work, readiness levels, and performance indicators, which showed that the sense of security and public trust in police services reached 100%, security coverage was 100%, and job satisfaction was 99.3%. The response time to emergencies was 1.21 minutes, reflecting the efficiency of police work and the quality of procedures in place.

Additionally, the center processed 888 transactions in 2025, 775 through smart channels and 113 in person, reflecting the success of the digital transformation.

In terms of preventive efforts, statistics showed a significant decrease in fraud reports over the past three years, dropping from 73 reports in 2023 to 22 in 2024 and to 4 in 2025. This reflects the success of awareness initiatives and community cooperation in the Hatta area.

In field efforts, the "Brave" team contributed to securing and organizing events and festivals, as well as carrying out traffic and awareness campaigns, securing 44 diverse events and 24 football matches.

Al Marri also reviewed the traffic studies conducted by the Hatta Police Center to address challenges on vital roads, alongside monitoring truck traffic. Over 50 trucks were monitored daily entering and leaving Hatta, and the law was enforced to curb overload violations that could pose a danger to road users and infrastructure.

At the conclusion of the tour, Major General Al Marri praised the efforts of the personnel at the Hatta Police Center, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, performance development, and enhancing community initiatives to solidify Hatta's position as a safe and sustainable tourist destination.

Al Marri also visited the Dubai Police point at the Hatta border crossing and reviewed the operational procedures and the traveler's journey.
